In spite of the name, the film does not refer to stylistics and thematics A -l4 of fassbinder and Pazolini. The debyutnoye cinema of the Viennese woman journalist Andrea Mary duzl – this is adventure melodrama in the style of road of muvi, whose main hero (Yozef Khader) randomly and with the strange circumstances becomes acquainted with the mysterious companion (Victoria malektorovich) his of that cancelling business -parntera, and then, after losing it, it leaves for the searches. Searches these, as a result, bring it to the native land of their lost familiar – in… The Ukraine, where the adventures continue in the company of the randomly screwed tighter even in East Europe small cheat (Detlef beech). Instead of his familiar main hero meets its sister, who proved to be himself even more mysterious special, characters are lost and again are located, travelling on the Ukraine in order, as a result, to find answers to all its questions in Odessa.
This film difficult to classify – it does not pull to „elitarnost'“, but, at the same time, this is far from meynstrim. Pozhlauy, most right would be to describe it as the high-quality festival cinema, which is of special interest for us already khotyaby because in it is shown the Ukraine – with the benevolent interest, to a sufficient degree it is actual (although not without lyapov, certainly). The creators of film together with their European heroes in this „journey in the searches of the Ukraine“ as if open for themselves certain Terra it is incognito – and they reveal that in it also there is life, in spite of the strangeness of local realias. Should be noted actor’s game – are completely convincing the Austrians, and our Malektorovich (known on the series the „birthday of bourgeois -2“), which plays immediately of two sisters – similar, but different. Without pretending to the certain deep philosophical sense, the creators of film, nevertheless, touched the theme of phobias and psychology „khomo of sovetikus“, although left this in them is sufficiently naively. Generally, the authors, on their assertion, „see in the subject the metaphor of the unity of the West and east, the means of large Europe, for which still one must learn and understand themselves“. In light of the last events – extremely urgent theme, not truth whether? 🙂

Вопреки названию, фильм не имеет отношения к стилистике и тематике а-ля Фассбиндер и Пазолини. Дебютное кино венской журналистки Андреа Марии Дузл – это приключенческая мелодрама в стиле роад муви, главный герой которой (Йозеф Хадер) случайно и при странных обстоятельствах знакомится с загадочной спутницей (Виктория Малекторович) своего несостоявшегося бизнес-парнтера, а потом, потеряв ее, отправляется на поиски. Поиски эти, в результате, приводят его на родину своей потерявшейся знакомой – в… Украину, где приключения продолжаются в компании случайно подвернувшегося еще в Восточной Европе мелкого жулика (Детлеф Бук). Вместо своей знакомой главный герой встречает ее сестру, оказавшуюся еще более загадочной особой, персонажи теряются и вновь находятся, путешествуя по Украине, дабы, в итоге, найти ответы на все свои вопросы в Одессе .
Фильм этот трудно классифицировать – он не тянет на „элитарность“, но, вместе с тем, это и далеко не мэйнстрим. Пожлауй, правильнее всего было бы охарактеризовать его, как добротное фестивальное кино, которое представляет особый интерес для нас уже хотябы потому, что в нем показана Украина – с доброжелательным интересом, в достаточной степени реально (хоть и не без ляпов, конечно). Создатели фильма вместе со своими европейскими героями в этом „путешествии в поисках Украины“ будто открывают для себя некую Терра Инкогнита – и обнаруживают, что в ней тоже есть жизнь, несмотря на странность здешних реалий. Следует отметить актерскую игру – вполне убедительны и австрийцы, и наша Малекторович (известная по сериалу „День рождения Буржуя-2“) , играющая сразу двух сестер – похожих, но разных. Не претендуя на некий глубокий философский смысл, создатели фильма, тем не менее, коснулись темы фобий и психологии „хомо советикус“, хоть и вышло это у них достаточно наивно. Вообще же, авторы, по их утверждению, „видят в сюжете метафору единения Запада и Востока, образ большой Европы, которой еще предстоит узнать и понять себя“. В свете последних событий – весьма актуальная тема, не правда ли? 🙂
